Vizio pokes fun at curved displays in hilarious infomercial
Curved TVs may have a benefit… if you watch them at the right angle, don’t have many visitors and stand far back enough. Ultimately, many of us can agree that it is mostly a marketing stunt to try and sell you something “different”.
A curved display doesn’t offer much to your viewing experience, something Vizio is trying to let you know with its latest video. The commercial is in the style of an infomercial, but with a sarcastic and satiric touch of comedy.
Opinion: To be honest, I have never been a huge fan of curved TV displays. They may be cool-looking and all, but I simply don’t see the benefit in them.
