• Disk Defragmenter - Defragments and optimizes your hard drive to improve performance. Run it from the Start menu or Default Apps > Defragment and Optimize Drives.

• CHKDSK - Checks your hard drive for errors and fixes issues. You can run it from an Admin Command Prompt.

• Temp file cleanup - Deletes temporary files, temporary install folders, and temp internet files. You can write a batch file script to do this.

You can automate a lot of these tasks using batch file scripts and the Windows Task Scheduler. This ensures your PC is regularly cleaned, updated and secured. Just create tasks that run your scripts on a schedule.
