Micromax has launched the first smartphone from the company’s YU brand – the Micromax YU YUREKA (AO5510). The YU brand of smartphones from the company would come branded with Cyanogen OS.
The Micromax YU Yureka has a 5.5-inch 720p display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device uses an Octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.
The YU Yureka has a rear facing 13MP autofocus camera and a front facing 5MP camera. Like most devices from India, it also has FM Radio and comes with Dual SIM support. It also comes with 4G LTE support and runs on a 2500mAh battery.
