Button up: Air Button adds Bluetooth controlled tactile shortcuts to smartphones

Air Button is a new device that connects via Bluetooth and sits on your phone waiting for finger-led commands for the likes of unlocking, making calls or opening different apps and functions such as email or camera apps.

Essentially, this physical widget bypasses the swipe to unlock and gets straight to the point.

The small pad attaches to smartphones, connects via NFC and is both wireless and doesn’t use batteries, so once it’s on it’s hassle-free.

At the moment this is just a kickstarter project but if $15,000 is pledged before November 26, the Air Button will be an easy option to shortcuts.
