Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 will come with multiple operating systems

Alcatel is not usually a big player at CES, but this year they are bringing some very interesting products. We already know an affordable smart watch is coming to the show floor. What about their smartphones?

Those won’t be missing either, guys. In fact, Alcatel is bringing the Pixi 3 line to Vegas. This includes 3.5-inch, 4-inch and 5 inch devices. The kicker? It will come with multiple operating systems.

Don’t go wild just yet, though! This are not triple-boot devices. You can’t switch between operating systems or anything like that. You will have to choose your iteration during purchase, and you can choose between Android, Windows Phone or Firefox OS.

Alcatel was also quick to mention it’s up to the carriers what they sell. You may not even be able to get all options, depending on your carrier.

Opinion: If only all manufacturers did this, our geeky world would be such a better place.
