Technics is back with first new headphones since 2014′s reboot

Technics is best known for world renowned heavy-duty turntables, home stereos and jackets bought from market stalls in the ’90s.
The company retreated for a relaunch in 2014 and now is back big-news items: an inventive new turntable and the Technics EAH-T700 headphones.
The neat-looking headphones use a two-way driver system that incorporates a 50mm dynamic driver for mid and bass notes, and a 14mm super tweeter for crisp and clear treble.
In the picture you can see the headphones’ angled driver system that is designed for good separation.
The dynamic driver is a floating unit housed in an anti-vibration frame and aluminum housing to keep extraneous vibrations to a minimum.
It has a 100kHz “wideband reproduction” and connection options include 3.5mm and 6.3mm jacks.
While the exact release date and price are still pending, these headphones will apparently cost around £1000.
