The wait is over, finally Lenovo A6000 Lollipop Update is released which is Lollipop 5.0.2. You can download and upgrade your Lenovo A6000 to Lollipop and enjoy the lollipop features. But please be aware that it is lagging a lot but after uninstalling the bloatwares its running smooth and on Lenovo A6000 Plus it is running smoothly. Before going through the Lenovo A6000/Plus Lollipop Update please read the Disclaimernotice prior to downloading and installing the major update for your device.
This rom is built for Lenovo A6000 and not for Lenovo A6000 Plus but you can install in any device. In our previous posts also we have been posting custom roms which were built for Lenovo K-3 and they worked pretty decent on Lenovo A6000/Plus with any lag.

How to install Lenovo A6000 Lollipop Update
Step 1 : Copy the rom zip
Step 2 : Boot into Recovery
Step 3 : Please take an entire backup of your current rom through the CWM menu. So that you can restore it back if you fail to install the Lollipop update on Lenovo A6000/Plus
Step 4 : Enter recovery mode
Step 5 : Wipe off data
- Factory Reset (wipe data,cache and dalvik cache)
Step 6 : Flash the rom. You might get Status 14 error but do not worry. Just REBOOT
