The Cubot X15 5.5-inch phablet sports a 16MP camera and ships with Android 5.1 for the budget presale price of $165.
When it goes on full sale the price will jump to $232 so this is probably the time to pounce if it floats your boat.
The X15 has a Full HD 5.5-inch IPS display and runs on a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, backed up by a Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
Onboard storage is 16GB, which is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD.
It’s a dual SIM handset and supports GPS, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE.
It weighs 150g and is 6.9mm thick.
The main selling point is the cameras – with its 16MP rear cam and 8MP front-facer.
