As the names suggest, both Desire smartphones are pretty much the same apart from the differences in the SoC and connectivity options. The Desire 620 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor (support for 4G LTE) and Desire 620G will come with octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor (only 3G support).
Among other specifications, the phones feature 5-inch 720p HD display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, and 5MP front shooter. The phones also pack 2100 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and Android 4.4 with HTC Sense and Eye Experience.
According to HTC, Desire 620 will go on sale beginning December 1 for NT$6990 (US$225), while the Desire 620G will be available sometime in Mid-December for NT$4,990 (US$160).
