A List of Devices Which Will Get Android Q Update

Pic Credit: AndroidCentral
Google is testing Android Q with beta updates exclusively on its Pixel range. Even though the official launch is far-off and we quite don’t know what ‘Q’ will stand for, we’ve already seen the set features it will bring along. And like every year, the question of ‘whether or not my device will upgrade to the new Android?’ has appeared again. So, we bring you a list of manufacturers who are most likely (like 98%) to upgrade their select few devices to the Android 10 Q. Dive in:
1. Pixel Phones

This one is a no-brainer as Google will definitely be upgrading their phones to the upcoming stable version of Android Q. As of now, all the Pixel devices are getting Q beta updates so they’ll get a final version of Android 10. Unlike other OEMs, Google will update its original Pixel phones launched back in 2016.
2. Samsung

As we all know, Samsung is notorious when it comes to software. It’s really slow to provide timely updates and monthly security patches. Also, Samsung has a two-year policy which means that phones launched 2 years ago won’t be getting Android Q. Those phones would be the S7 and S7 Edge, S8 and S8+ and Note 8. Flagships like the S9 and S9+, Note 9 and the recently launched S10 series, will all be upgraded to the Android Q. Even though Note 10 is in the rumor-phase, it will most definitely get the Q update.
3. OnePlus

OnePlus may be the king of performance but it is nowhere near Google’s own flagships when it comes to software updates. Still, a few devices like the OnePlus 5, 5T, 6 and 6T will receive the future update. OnePlus’s forthcoming OnePlus 7 will obviously get it as well.
4. Huawei

Somewhere down the line, Huawei flagships will receive Android Q. The devices include newly unveiled Huawei P30 & P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite and Honor View 20.
5. Nokia

Nokia has launched a number of smartphones in the last 2 years and we think some of these will surely be upgraded to Android Q. The devices include Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 8.1 and 8.1 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and 7.1, Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus, Nokia 5.1 and 5.1 Plus, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 3.1 Plus.
6. Asus

Asus will update the ZenFone Max Pro M2, ZenFone 5Z and ROG Phone to the upcoming Android Q Jihosoft Photo Recovery Recover lost photos, videos & audio from PC, external hard drive and removable devices with a few clicks.

7. LG

LG V40 and G7 ThinQ will surely be upgraded to the upcoming Android 10 Q.
8. Motorola

Motorola is also not known for its software updates but we have a hint that it will upgrade the Moto One, Moto One Power (Android One), Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play and Moto G7 series to the Android Q.

This was our list of phones that will (probably) be upgraded to the Android Q. Please remember that nothing is official yet and this list is based on the assumptions of the aforementioned company’s previous software update records.
