ZTE B880, Company’s Upcoming Phone with Fingerprint Recognition Gets Certified by TENAA

Yesterday, we’ve showed you a pretty interesting mid-range phone from ZTE that could be announced in the next couple of weeks. The smartphone in case is a successor for the A880 introduced last year, and today thanks to the TENAA certification we get to know its real name (B880), and also to find out what specs we’ll get in the package.

It looks like the differences between A880 and B880 won’t be so big, as the new phone packs the same 5-inch HD TFT panel, 1 GB of RAM and only 8 GB space of internal storage. However, there’s a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, a microSD card slot up to 32 GB, a 8-megapixel rear camera and a similar 8-megapixel sensor placed in the front.
The novelty compared to the A880 is the fact that B880 brings a different design language and a fingerprint scanner on the back. TENAA let us know that the new mid-range phone prepared by ZTE runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

ZTE B880 will weight 126 grams and it will measure only 8.9 mm in thickness. Taking in consideration the fact that at the launch, A880 was sold for $225, we could expect that the retail price of the B880 to be just below the $250 verge.
